Raised in Murtaugh, Idaho, Esteban Martinez has proudly called the area home for 36 years. With 18 years of experience in banking, lending, and customer service and a diverse background that includes serving as a Vocational Counselor for the State of Idaho and as a Hand Crew Firefighter with the Sawtooth National Forest and a proud alumnus of the University of Idaho, Esteban brings a unique perspective and dedication to helping people succeed.

Throughout his career, Esteban has been recognized for his leadership and impact, receiving the Rick Allen Award from First Federal and the Aguila Award from the Idaho Commission of Hispanic Affairs and the College of Southern Idaho. His commitment to community runs deep, with active roles as a board member of the South Central Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the University of Idaho Hispanic Advisory Committee.

For Esteban, the most rewarding part of his work is guiding people toward financial freedom through homeownership. “Enhancing people’s well-being and knowing I can play a part in improving their lives is what motivates me every day,” he shares.

Outside of the office, Esteban enjoys climbing, comics, and gardening as a way to unwind. He values inclusion and believes First Federal’s approach opens the door to endless possibilities for customers. “Helping change the narrative of how people live in our community is something I’m proud to be part of,” he says.
