Rooted in the Community She Serves

Born and raised in the Nampa community, Tina has spent her life building relationships with the same people she now helps as a senior business banker. Her husband is from Nampa too, and they raised their three children there. This history gives her work a personal dimension.
“I serve my friends in the community, friends, family, people I’ve grown up around, gone to school with,” Tina says.
Tina brings about 20 years of banking experience to First Fed, beginning as a teller and moving through roles including branch manager, regional manager and treasury management officer. That range helps her support business owners across the day-to-day realities of banking, from accounts and payments to ACH, wires and personal banking needs.
She also understands what local businesses mean to one another.
What Tina enjoys most is watching a business move from idea to operation, then seeing the local network rally around it. Customers ask who they should call for a particular service. Business owners refer one another. One connection leads to another, and the community gets stronger.
“That’s what I love,” she says. “It’s just a referral system for your customers to call other customers, and then it just makes everybody’s business thrive.”
For Tina, community involvement extends beyond banking. She serves on local nonprofit boards, including WITCO Inc. in Caldwell, which helps adults with developmental disabilities find employment, build skills and live more independently. She is especially fond of the organization’s popcorn operation, which sells through WinCo stores.
“It’s the best popcorn ever, by the way,” she says.
That spirit of connection is part of what drew Tina to First Fed: an Idaho-based community bank where members can reach real people and get help quickly.
“They’re a member, but they’re not a number,” she says.
For anyone thinking about starting or growing a business, Tina’s invitation is simple: come in, sit down and talk through the idea.
“Talk about your goals, talk about your dreams,” she says. “Let’s see what we can do to make it work for you.”
