Zach Kelsey is as Idaho as they come, born in Declo and proud to have spent nearly his entire life in the Gem State. With over 20 years of banking experience and a unique educational background that blends business, technology, and environmental studies, Zach brings both depth and heart to his role as a mortgage loan officer.
He holds a double Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems and Marketing from Boise State University and an Associate’s Degree in Ecology and Wildlife Management from BYU–Idaho. He also attended BYU–Hawaii, where he says he focused “mostly on the sand and waves,” showcasing his appreciation for balance, adventure, and lifelong learning.
Zach brings extensive knowledge in lending and finance to First Federal. He’s a proud recipient of the FISH Award, a peer-nominated honor recognizing those who uplift others, lead with positivity, and stay fully engaged in their work.
Deeply involved in his community, Zach currently serves on the Kimberly School District board and has previously held leadership positions with the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Optimist Club, and St. Luke’s Foundation.
Outside the office, Zach is all about family, fun, and fandom. He’s a proud dad to four kids, a Detroit Lions fan, a comic convention enthusiast, and a music lover who’s been to more than 100 concerts.
For Zach, helping people become homeowners, especially those who never thought it was possible, is incredibly rewarding. He values the relationships he builds with customers and believes First Federal offers something truly special: local people, local decisions, and a team that truly cares. When you work with Zach, you’re not just getting a mortgage, you’re gaining a trusted neighbor and partner in your homebuying journey.
