2025 First Federal Bank Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournaments Results
09/26/25

First Federal Bank, in partnership with local businesses, recently completed its annual Rock, Paper, Scissors “Tournament of Champions” events in Meridian and Twin Falls, resulting in 12 charities receiving contributions. In total, 64 businesses competed to award $32,000 in funding to non-profits. Each business paid an entry fee of $250 which was then matched by First Federal to create the prize pools. Businesses were then placed in brackets and squared off in a best of three, single elimination competition of rock, paper, scissors. Winning businesses and their benefiting charities as well as the prize amounts are listed below.
“Rock, Paper, Scissors allows us to engage our business community, highlight local charities, and bring people together in the spirit of philanthropy,” shared Jason Meyerhoeffer, President and CEO of First Federal Bank. “We live in a special place and our non-profits have a big hand in that as they are on the front-line of addressing needs in our communities. Whenever we can, it is important that we showcase and assist our non-profit partners – we can’t thank them enough for the work they do.”
On top of watching the friendly and energetic competition, those in attendance were able to experience the entertaining introductions for each team, snatching up candy and giveaways tossed from the stage. Food trucks and a beer garden were also part of each tournament.
“We had the best time out there last night,” exclaimed Title Fact, Inc. of Twin Falls after competing in the Magic Valley tournament. “Thank you (First Federal) for showing up for our community the way you do and allowing us to be part of something so special.”
RE/MAX Legacy Idaho stated, “We had a blast at the First Federal Rock, Paper, Scissors. It was awesome to see everyone come together to support so many great non-profit organizations. “
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishes were awarded as well as prizes for the best team introduction and a consolation drawing.
