The Three Phases of Wealth:Your Wealth Machine

-
Accumulation Phase
I imagine this phase as the engine that powers your wealth possibilities. Your personal financial habits—like consistent savings, smart investments, and regular contributions—are the fuel that keeps it running. The focus here is on growth and disciplined wealth generation. This is the foundation of your wealth journey.
-
Protection Phase
Once you've accumulated wealth, the priority shifts to preserving it. Our engine downshifts from full speed to a steadier, more controlled pace. The goal is to reduce risk exposure and implement strategies that ensure income sustainability and protect against inflation. It’s about securing what you’ve built so it can support your lifestyle over the long term.
-
Transition Phase
In the final phase, the focus moves to legacy. As the time to hand over the wheel approaches, it's essential to prepare both your investments and your heirs for the journey ahead. This phase involves thoughtful estate planning to ensure a smooth and tax-efficient transfer of wealth, minimize legal complications, and reduce the potential for family conflict.
In the upcoming editions of Wealth Wisdom, we will share key foundational principles and behaviors that both you and your clients can apply as you navigate your wealth journey.
