Tyler Braden Concert Punctuates Action-Packed Week at Jerome County Fair

The 105th edition of the Jerome County Fair is taking place this week, August 4-9, and will be one to remember, highlighted by a performance from country music singer Tyler Braden. Braden will headline the Friday night concert, sponsored by First Federal Bank, and will be joined by special guest Jacquie Roar. The concert is slated for 7:30 p.m. and will take place in the DePew Arena. Tickets can be purchased online at jeromecountyfair.com or by visiting the Jerome County Fair Box Office, which has special hours during fair week, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“We are proud to support the Jerome County Fair and excited to sponsor Friday night’s concert featuring Tyler Braden,” said Angela Wells, Customer and Community Engagement Manager for First Federal Bank. “It is pretty special to have him (Tyler Braden) performing, especially right now as his popularity and music are exploding on the country scene. This is an amazing opportunity for Southern Idaho to experience one of Nashville’s next stars.”

Braden, originally from Slapout, Alabama, has been singing and entertaining his entire life. Early home videos capture him on the front porch with a plastic guitar and microphone performing for family and friends. As he got older, he became a serious guitar player and could be found jamming with friends and playing at church. During high school, Braden took on constant cover gigs that resulted in a large, local following of fans. Later, while working as a firefighter, Braden wrote and recorded whenever he could and eventually started to breakthrough, beginning with several singles and his release of the EP “What Do They Know” in 2021. In 2023, his song “Try Losing One” reached number one on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Weekend Countdown. Braden’s 2024 song “Devil You Know” was certified gold and his current 2025 hit “God and Guns N’ Roses” has been receiving extensive radio and streaming play.

In addition to the concert, the Jerome County Fair will feature three nights of PRCA ProRodeo (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), carnival rides Wednesday-Saturday, and numerous entertainers throughout the week as well as 4-H exhibits and other family-friendly activities. The annual fair parade takes place on Tuesday at 4 p.m. and will proceed down Main Street. For a full schedule of events and additional information, visit jeromecountyfair.com.
