Wendy's Security Breach

05/13/2016

Recently we have seen fraudulent debit card activity that may be related to a breach identified at Wendy's fast food restaurant. This fraudulent activity is impacting consumers across the nation. In order to combat unauthorized activity, occasionally it is necessary for banks to block or restrict debit card transactions in certain states, foreign countries, and at merchant locations where fraudulent activity has become prevalent. With this in mind, if during a purchase you use your card for a signature transaction and it is denied, please try again using your PIN.

If you've used your debit card at Wendy's over the last year, we encourage you to come into one of our branches to receive a new instant-issue debit card. Also, please keep a close eye on your account, and if you find a transaction you did not complete, please contact your local First Federal Branch immediately.

The security of our customers' account information is our top priority. We take these preventive actions very seriously in order to protect First Federal’s account holders' funds. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but assure you that this action is taken to protect you and your account.
