First Federal Bank has once again been named Idaho's Best-In-State Bank by Forbes, marking the fourth consecutive year First Fed has earned the top ranking and its fifth since 2020. Forbes – a global media company, focusing on business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and lifestyle – released its 2026 “America’s Best-in-State Bank” list on June 17.
The yearly ranking is presented by Forbes in partnership with Statista – the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider – and recognizes financial institutions that have earned the trust and loyalty of their customers through exceptional service, financial guidance, digital experiences, and overall customer satisfaction.
“To be recognized by Forbes again this year is a tremendous honor,” said Jason Meyerhoeffer, President and CEO. “This recognition is a tribute to our employees and the work they do every day to create an exceptional banking experience while enhancing our customers’ financial well-being.”
This year's rankings were based on feedback from approximately 26,000 U.S. consumers collected through an independent survey panel. Participants were asked how satisfied they were and their likelihood to recommend. In addition, the survey asked for ratings on various banking aspects including trust, financial expertise, customer service, digital tools, and if fees were transparent and reasonable. Statista also took into account online reviews and ratings.
America's Best-In-State Banks highlights the financial institutions most valued by residents in each state and recognizes banks that excel at meeting the unique needs of their local communities.
